International Women's Day 2012

Angela Mortimer, Co-founder of the Angela Mortimer Group is hosting a lunch to celebrate International Women's Day 2012, and to raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

Angela, with three inspirational guest speakers will share and celebrate some of the wonderful contributions and accomplishments made by women internationally. All funds raised by the Angela Mortimer Group’s International Women’s Day celebration will go directly to Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

There will be a raffle on the day to help raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer. We are looking to beat our total of £1000 raised last year. If you would like to donate money directly to Breakthrough Breast Cancer please do so here.

		Seema Sharma - Slumdog Secret Millionaire At 35, Seema was juggling a career in dentistry, a young family, and a new found interest in period property renovation. At 40, she decided to explore new territories and after participating in Channel 4’s “Slumdog Secret Millionaire” Seema founded The Sharma Foundation to help underprivileged communities in East London and India.
		Mairi Eastwood - CEO Praesta Mairi is the Founder and Partner of Praesta - leaders in Executive Coaching. She has coached business leaders and senior teams since 1995 and was one of the first women audit partners at Ernst & Young. Mairi has also sat in both executive and non-executive capacity on a number of UK Boards and Governmental Committees.
		Laura Lee - CEO of Maggie Centres Laura started her career as a nurse with a specialism in cancer care. One of her patients, a family member of one of our most famous Taipan dynasties, bequeathed some of her fortune 15 years ago to found the first Maggie Centre, to assist people affected by cancer. This charity now has an annual turnover of £12 million p.a. and under the stewardship of Laura has become the fastest growing charity in the UK.
