Joanne Owers, partner at Fox Williams, is joining us to present our next seminar on Wednesday 26th October to explain the practical implementation of the Equality Act 2010. A focus of the presentation will be the issues affecting recruitment, including the new rules governing the use of pre-employment medicals.
This will be followed by a review of recent cases, drawing out key themes and matters of practical application e.g. reasonable adjustments in ill health cases and using costs as a defence to discrimination claims.
