  • Try to include evidence of your creative thinking – scamps, alternative concepts and pitch ideas.
  • Awareness of the interview is important. It is important to articulate your role within the process of each piece, however  be aware of time and try to read the reaction of your interviewer as to how much detail they want.
  • Always put your strongest pieces of work at the front of your book. A strong finale is all well and good but if the interviewer cuts short the interview it is worthless.
  • Try to keep your book contemporary and don’t let sentiments keep that 6 year old college piece in there!
